Job Summary:   
The Corporate Reporting Controller will report directly to the Senior Director, Finance and will be primarily responsible for managing the preparation of Attindas’ financial statements, and all SEC and legal filings.  In addition, this role will work alongside the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis on the coordination of treasury operations, debt management, liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking and bank relationships.
 
Key responsibilities:   
Financial Statement Reporting Responsibilities:
  • Manage the monthly consolidation of Attindas’ financial statements and provide support for month-end and year-end closing, which includes working with finance controllers and their teams, in Europe and the US.
  • Prepare all required SEC and legal filings.
  • Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance and provide US GAAP interpretations.
  • Communicate accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the Senior Director and CFO.
  • Manage communication with auditors on financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures and issues.
  • Coordinate quarterly/annual audit review activities for both the US and European operations.
  • Support potential M&A activity including due diligence and preparation of purchase accounting.
  • Maintain accounting manual, which will include both accounting and reporting procedures needed to company with internal control requirements.
Treasury Operations:
  • Daily oversight of the company's cash balances, coordination of the overall business cash forecasting provided to the Senior Director, CFO and American Industrial Partners.
  • Review daily cash position and its components - lockbox receipts; ACH, check and wire A/P; payroll; interest and principal payments.
  • Maximize banking services provided by Attindas’ banks.
  • Work with local finance managers on bank operations and liquidity management.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure cash activities are properly recorded.
Debt Management Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the company stays within compliance of the various covenants and effectively manage the debt, ensuring timely payments and rollovers.
  • Ensure the Revolver is used efficiently to cover net cash needs, preparing and submitting the Borrowing Base Certificate and proper Borrowing Notices, coordinating with the lender’s debt operations desk, ensuring bank fees are tracked and paid promptly, ensuring Term Loan amortization is handled on time, and interest is paid according to terms.
  • Become familiar with the terms and conditions of the Senior Credit and Term Debt Facilities, preparing the various compliance certificates on a timely basis, alerting both management and the private equity sponsor of any possible upcoming compliance issues, developing working relationships with the Agent and the Lenders.  
Liquidity Management Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate midmonth process of pulling together the site forecasts and preparation of a monthly forecast.
  • Prepare overview analysis of monthly report for both management and American Industrial Partners' review. Fully understand the forecast to effectively deal with questions and discussions from management and American Industrial Partners.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of the monthly report by tracking actuals vs forecast on a weekly basis, focusing needed action to be taken on major disconnects versus forecast.
Tax Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company’s tax compliance processes, with a focus on overseeing the relationship with the outsourced tax provider.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its outsourced tax provider.
  • Review tax provisions prepared by outsourced tax provider and support quarterly and annual financial close processes.
  • Collaborate with internal finance and accounting teams to provide necessary data and documentation.
 
Required Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
  • Proven track record of collaboration and working successfully in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA with accounting firm experience, with exposure to SEC and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of tax accounting.
  • Knowledge/exposure to international operations and accounting regulations.
  • Experience with the OneStream consolidation platform.
