PACKAGING LEADER
Laboratorios Indas, a world leader in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of hygienic products is looking for a Packaging Leader. You will be responsible for managing the development of packaging projects, developing containers and packaging to ensure the profitable launch of new products and the maintenance of commercial activities.
You will report to the Business Support Director collaborating with Project Managers on Packaging projects and will be responsible for managing and directing any issues related to packaging machine testing for our product development.

Responsibilities:
1. lead packaging development 2:
- Provide packaging solutions for new products, range re-launches and range extensions.
- Generate and manage packaging critical path together with project managers.
- Basic management of packaging specifications, including quality checking of information.
- Lead, in conjunction with Engineering, validation testing of FAT and SAT machinery to ensure that new technology will manufacture to specified productivity standards.
- Ensure that all new product packaging meets customer and company expectations while adhering to legislative standards.

- Support project management at UNITAS on packaging and capacity expansion projects.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to establish feasibility of new packaging initiatives and manage aesthetics/color approvals.
- Support the Marketing team (across all sites) in meeting packaging deadlines.
- Develop packaging print plans in editable PDF format for packaging supplier.
- Proactively research innovative and new packaging solutions for new and existing product lines.
- Cost savings in the management of any project.
- Support project management at UNITAS on packaging and capacity expansion projects.

- Control of raw materials to avoid obsolescence.

Requirements and Professional Experience:
- Preferably Engineering in the Industrial branch.
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD will be an asset.
- Experience working with SAP R3: Production and inventory tools (raw materials and finished products).
- 1-2 years of experience in Packaging and Product Packaging departments.
- Experience in Plant/Industrial environment is a must.
- Computer skills (Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook).
- Project management experience preferred.
