POSITION

Laboratorios Indas is looking for a PRL Technician whose mission will be to participate in the implementation of occupational risk prevention processes, as well as in the implementation of preventive and corrective actions to ensure the health of workers and minimize risks in the company's workplaces.  
Reporting to the H&S manager, your main function will be to support all divisions and departments by evaluating risk prevention actions and making available to each of the jobs the necessary resources and means in terms of health and safety. 
You will be part of a global, young, innovative and dynamic team, where you will have the opportunity to develop and participate in key projects for the company.

In this position, you will help to promote the Health and Safety culture in the Toledo plant, Evaluate the existing risks in the workplace, Propose preventive or corrective measures to eliminate or reduce the risks, Elaborate Work Procedures and Safety Standards, Give safety trainings for workers, and Business activities coordination between companies among others tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate the existing risks in the workstations and propose preventive or corrective measures that eliminate or reduce such risks, implementing the necessary measures and verifying their implementation and execution.
- Definir work procedures and safety standards to inform and train workers on how to perform their activities safely.
- Create Health and Safety documents and regulations and update them in the Safety Manual.
- Maintain updated company databases and archiving of safety system records.
- Collaborate in the management, updating and improvement of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Work on data collection for analysis and statistics on health and safety indicators.
- Carrying out periodic audits and controls in plant based on H&S policy and legal regulations on PRL.
•    Detectar necesidades de formación en seguridad y salud, y desarrollar contenidos y formatos para poner en marcha acciones de formación, tales como formación en el Plan de Autoprotección y Emergencias, uso de EPIs, etc.
•    Coordinación de las actividades de prevención de riesgos con empresas externas que vayan a realizar trabajos en nuestras instalaciones (CAE)
•    Analizar accidentes y posibles situaciones de riesgo y proponer planes de acción para prevenir situaciones similares en el futuro.
•    Dar soporte y atender los requerimientos de los empleados a todos los niveles y de la representación de los trabajadores en materias de seguridad y salud.
•    Colaborar en la coordinación con el Servicio de prevención ajeno y con la Mutua de accidentes de trabajo.

Experience and skills:

    • Health and Safety studies (Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales according to Spanish Legislation).
    • 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
    • Knowledge in ISO 45001:2018.
    • Knowledge of the Prevention Law 31/1995.
    • Safety expert in industrial environments
    • Good level of spoken and written English (B2 level).
    • Knowledge of computer tools (Office)
