 You will have -

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their networking services.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• The role of a Network DevOps Engineer requires a blend of networking expertise and proficiency in automation and DevOps practices. The individual in this role contributes to the agility and reliability of the organization's network infrastructure, supporting the continuous delivery of applications and services.

 Bird’s eye view of your role –

• Network Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated scripts, tools, templates for network provisioning, configuration, and management. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for network changes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create and manage IaC templates using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies to define and deploy network components, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
• Network Design and Architecture: Collaborate with network architects and engineers to design, plan, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions that align with business requirements.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain network monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address network performance issues and anomalies. Utilize tools like Solarwinds, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or other monitoring tools.
• Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Investigate and resolve network-related incidents and outages in a timely manner. Collaborate with other IT teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software development, system administration, and security teams to ensure smooth integration of networking components into the overall infrastructure.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest networking trends, technologies, and DevOps practices. Identify opportunities to introduce new tools and technologies that enhance network automation and operational excellence.
