Sales and Marketing Associate

Role Overview:

As a Sales and Marketing Associate , you will play a crucial role in prospecting, educating, and developing leads into sales-ready opportunities (SALs). Serving as the initial point of contact for potential customers, you will contribute to market monitoring, lead generation tactics, and innovative strategies to attract our target audience. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our local sales team and provides a pathway for significant career advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at quickly establishing trust, empathy, and rapport with potential clients.
  • Positive and dynamic telephone skills, excellent listening abilities, and strong written communication skills.
  • Desire to generate new business through account-based approaches and explore business opportunities.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree (not mandatory).

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience as an SDR or Sales Marketing Associate, ideally in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Familiarity with qualifying methods (BANT, CHAMPS) and account-based concepts.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo, with previous experience being desirable.

Performance Objectives:

  1. Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop leads into sales-ready opportunities.
  2. Establish and build rapport with prospects via telephone and email.
  3. Handle prospect calls and respond to prospect emails using Outlook.
  4. Successfully manage and overcome sales objections to develop interest.
  5. Transform marketing and prospected leads into qualified sales opportunities (SALs).
  6. Research target contacts and accounts.
  7. Conduct target company/contact research.
  8. Vet leads against existing records.
  9. Document all activities in Salesforce for efficient lead managemen
  10. Capture accurate and complete prospect information.
  11. Complete Salesforce activity notes, lead stage changes, and opportunity builds (1 hour per day).
  12. Exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Short-Term Goals:

  • Days 1-14: Learn our company's value proposition and product offerings.
  • Days 15-30: Begin establishing a pipeline and work towards quarterly sales targetsTop of Form
