Description

As a Technical Lead Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation solutions for the Networking domain. You will collaborate closely with program teams, stakeholders, and other technical teams to ensure that automation efforts align with business goals.

You will have - 
  • 8-12 years of experience in automation and testing of the network products
  • Strong knowledge of developing and maintenance of automation framework.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
  • Good Knowledge & understanding of network protocols.
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of network design and topologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Good for you to have – 
  • Knowledge of Cloud services and technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN technology
You will definitely possess these technical skills – 
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix based systems.
  • Proficient in scripting (preferably Python) 
  • Good Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Hands on experience in l2/l3 protocols testing
  • Hands-on experience in testing dynamic routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of network design and topologies.
  • Strong experience in testing backend applications/services
Bird’s eye view of your role – 
  • Testing of large scale highly available network security solutions 
  • automation framework design and development
  • Lead and manage a team of automation engineers and ensure clear goals and performance metrics are set and achieved.
  • Research, recommend, and select automation tools and technologies that best fit the organization's needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation workflows, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on automation processes and tools.
  • Feature automation and continuous integration.
  • Lead the script review activities.
  • Developing test plans and automating those for regression framework
  • Covering all aspects of QA: requirements, functionality, usability, performance, etc.
  • You will participate in the design of features.

  • This role comes with the responsibility of leading the automation team to automate the Aryaka SD-WAN and security features.
  • You will be responsible for automating the new features.
  • You will be responsible for adding new libraries to support feature automation.
  • You will be responsible for the timely delivery of feature automation.
  • The role demands the candidate to be an expert in identifying the automation gaps and improvement areas of the automation framework.
  • You will be responsible for guiding and coaching the new members in the team.
