Employee Relations Consultant 
 
 
We are seeking a seasoned Employee Relations Consultant to foster and sustain positive relationships between our organization and its employees. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing employee relations policies and procedures, addressing employee grievances, and offering guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting a productive and engaged workforce, and we are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about cultivating a positive work environment.
 
Position Qualifications/Essential Functions: 
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Assists management with performance concerns, disciplinary action and conflict management issues
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Administers the equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs
  • Analyze exit interviews, summarize findings, and discuss trends and concerns with senior management
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
 
Additional Qualifications Preferred: 
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in conflict resolution and mediation
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Expert knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action requirements.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with G-Suite (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
 
Education/Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field or minimum 4 years equivalent experience in Human Resources role
  • Proven work experience in an Employee Relations or similar role

Compensation: $90k-$110k/annual salary & bonus eligible
