Process

The very first step is simply having a conversation. You can meet with a Multiple Line General Agent, an Agency Development Leader, or a recruiter to have a conversation about your interest and what American National has to offer you.

Your journey through our detailed recruiting process will give you all of the information you need to make the best choice for your future. You will meet with agents who have chosen American National, as well as leaders who can answer questions and help your agency grow.

During the recruitment process, American National will discuss the requirements of being an agent. There will also be a required background check and full onboarding process. You will need to get licensed in Property, Casualty, and Life insurance in your state, which is a process we will also thoroughly go over with you.

Training & Support

Training is a key part of being successful, and that’s why American National has a team focused on creating training that you will use. There is a blend of mentorship, online development, and in the field training. The combination of these methods will set you up for success in your business and will show you how to be a leader in your community.

We have teams that will help you with quotes, recruiting, selling, and developing your brand. Your focus will be on your growth, and our focus will be on you.
