UI Artist (Project Based)
As a UI (User Interface) Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for mobile games and apps. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to design, implement, and optimize UI elements that enhance the overall gameplay experience and engage players.
The purpose of the role is to conceptualize, mock-up, and execute interface designs across many different systems, creating a visual and functional connection between the user experience and the game story. You will work with us to design and develop user interface styles, structures and flows integrated in our projects, augmenting gameplay systems and complementing the established art direction.
- Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile to ensure it aligns with our requirements and values
- Talent Acquisition Interview: Selected candidates will undergo an initial interview to discuss about their experience, skills, and fit for the role.
- Online Test: Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment to demonstrate their abilities.
- Technical Interview: Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team when a project staffing plan is made.
- UI Design: Create concept sketches, wireframes, and mockups for various UI screens, including menus, HUDs (Heads-Up Displays), overlays, and interactive elements. Develop cohesive visual themes and styles that align with the game's aesthetic and target audience.
- Graphic Asset Creation: Design and produce high-quality UI assets, including icons, buttons, backgrounds, and visual effects. Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) to create scalable and visually appealing UI elements that enhance usability and accessibility.

- Animation and Motion Graphics: Implement animations and motion graphics to enhance interactivity, feedback, and visual interest within the UI. Create dynamic transitions, button animations, and visual effects that respond to player interactions and events.
- User Experience (UX) Optimization: Conduct user research, playtesting, and usability testing to gather feedback and insights on UI design and functionality. Iterate on UI layouts, navigation flows, and interactive elements to improve user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Technical Implementation: Work closely with developers to integrate UI assets into the game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and ensure optimal performance across various mobile devices and screen resolutions. Collaborate on UI scripting and implementation tasks as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with game designers, artists, programmers, and producers to align UI design goals with gameplay mechanics, narrative elements, and technical constraints. Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance the overall game experience.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure that UI elements function as intended, adhere to design specifications, and meet performance targets. Identify and address any UI-related bugs, glitches, or usability issues in a timely manner.
