WHAT WILL YOU DO

The Security Specialist, under the guidance of the Compliance Officer, ensures that Alverno is HIPAA compliant and that Alverno’s security controls are well designed and effective. The Security Specialist should have a solid understanding of technical controls. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic Healthcare systems while performing all job functions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor of Science degree in business, health care or information technology related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience of information technology experience required.

Information technology experience in healthcare is required.
