WHAT WILL YOU DO 

This individual will participate in blended education, spanning the breadth of medical lab science, and training to be able to perform specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. The education is provided by Valparaiso University, and training is provided by Alverno Laboratories. Once the education and testing are complete, testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA and other applicable agencies. He/she will perform specimen collection as necessary.  Classroom and Training will be on Days (AM). Once program is complete applicant can bid on any open full or part time positions

Bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences.
