Altamira is recruiting for a challenging and rewarding position for a highly qualified and talented Senior Program Director, with proven record and performance in the U.S. Government contracting industry. Altamira Directors play a critical role in developing, branding, and selling Altamira’s technology, services, and expertise. In partnership with Account Leads, Technical Principals, Business Development and Proposal Teams, Infrastructure Departments and peers, Altamira Directors drive delivery and market success with cutting-edge capabilities, top talent, differentiated strategies, and winning proposals.
 
Director Role includes:
  • Corporate Leader: develop and lead successful teams, achieving Altamira goals.
  • Portfolio Manager: manage the delivery of projects, products, and services.
  • Relationship Manager: engage and serve customer needs, driving sales growth.
  • Strategic Planner: align delivery to customer needs and Altamira business goals. 
  • Capture Lead: formulate effective capture and proposal technical solutions. 
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:  
  • Serve as Deputy Account Lead for entire DoD portfolio, supporting multiple IDIQs in a Prime and Subcontractor role.
  • Management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the organization programs at various levels of complexity.
  • Measuring and reporting program performance.
  • Ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board process.
  • Supporting program P&L forecast and adherence, internal investment planning and execution.
  • Responsibility for completion and submittal of the program deliverables per the statement of work along with all artifacts to support the contract.
  • Preparation and delivering briefings on program status to customers, executive leadership and supporting team.
  • Collaborating across many teams and enterprise-wide business areas with effective communication skills.
  • Prepare and deliver at a competitive cost and technical proposals to capture new business.
  • Support growth strategy development including building product and technology roadmaps.
  • Cultivate customer and stakeholder relationships to further business opportunities.
Required skills and qualifications:   
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of program management experience.
  • U.S. citizenship with a minimum Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization; ability to work with other Program Directors, Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Senior Leadership.
  • Experience throughout the program lifecycle from development through sustainment to include proposal development, requirements decomposition, generation of system and subsystem statements of work and subcontracts, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts including implementation of cost reduction and performance improvement efforts.
  • Experience with managing manpower planning, project reviews, scheduling and budget control.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
