Description

DecisiveInstincts, LLC has an immediate opportunity for an Engineer, Electrical/Electronics III, requiring a Secret clearance located in Charleston, SC.  In this role, you will provide engineering expertise for the configuration, maintenance, and technical support of CCTV systems with Access Control, ensuring proper system integration, functionality, and compliance with DoD security requirements.

Salary: $155,000

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for CCTV systems with Access Control for DoD customers
  • Maintain Authorization To Operate (ATO) certification for all installed CCTV systems
  • Support system configuration and integration of Genetec Video Management System (VMS)
  • Configure and manage Cisco switchgear and Windows Domain Controller Servers
  • Provide technical guidance for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system repairs
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues with CCTV and access control systems
  • Maintain and update repair/integration lab at contractor's facility for testing and validation
  • Support security compliance requirements including applying STIGs and maintaining RMF documentation
  • Develop engineering solutions for system upgrades and modifications
  • Provide technical recommendations for system improvements and sustainability
  • May work remotely up to 24 hours per week with proper approval
Basic Qualifications
    • Active IAT Level 3 certification (CISSP) required
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical/electronics engineering
    • Experience with CCTV systems, access control technologies, and video management systems
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Genetec VMS configuration and integration; Genetec VMS certification a plus
    • Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Windows Active Directory
    • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and ATO processes
    • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
    • Familiarity with NIST standards and DoD security requirements
    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation
    • Available to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as needed
    • Experience with test equipment, system troubleshooting, and repair techniques
