Description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Project Scheduler requiring a Public Trust clearance. This position is REMOTE/WFH, and the candidate must be located in the Washington, D.C. metro area, as they may need to visit the client 5-8 times a year. You will contribute to the mission success of various stakeholders by supporting an innovative initiative that involves the design, development, testing, and deployment of an exciting and complicated system in an Agile framework.  In this role, you will be expected to provide a collaborative approach to gathering essential data from many sources and multiple customers across the program office and displaying it in a relevant manner to enable evaluation and decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       You will be responsible for developing and managing an Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) and integrating data from multiple sources.

·       Assist with developing and monitoring strategic plans, and build and maintain project management plans addressing scope, resources, cost, schedule, performance metrics, program management approach, technical delivery approach, and security.

·       Strategically work together with cross-functional teams to provide innovative, customer-focused experiences

Basic Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field

·       Minimum of six (6) years of Project Scheduler experience

·       Proficient in applying project management principles to developing extensive, complex schedules.

·       Experience maintaining several schedules at any given time for various projects in various stages.

·       Experience working closely with a Project Management Office (PMO) to contribute to processes for continuous improvement.

·       Experience establishing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and baseline schedules with task networking, resource loading and leveling, schedule status, performance tracking, and critical path reporting and analysis.

·       Proficient in Project Management methodologies and industry best practices.

·       Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

·       An understanding and use of SAFE / Agile methodologies

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional (Demonstrated competency with MS Project and other Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Rally, or Jira)

Preferred:

·             Certification in Project Management

·             Local to Washington, D.C. Region

·             Agile Certification
