Salary: 26.44/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am-6pm
CCBHC Employment Specialist 
 
The Employment Specialist is a key member of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team, responsible for promoting recovery and community integration through individualized and group-based employment support in a social club setting. This role supports participants by helping them to prepare for and pursue meaningful employment. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage social club members in conversations about work, interests, and goals related to employment.
  • Conduct informal and structured employment readiness activities (e.g., interest inventories, resume workshops, mock interviews).
  • Provide support with job applications and preparation for interviews.
  • Accompany clients into the community for job development activities, such as attending interviews, completing applications, visiting potential worksites, or connecting with employers
  • Offer benefits counseling (in coordination with benefits advisors) to help individuals explore how employment may impact public benefits.
  • Develop and lead group activities related to employment awareness, work skills, and career exploration.
  • Coordinate with CCBHC team to integrate employment-focused topics into social club programming.
  • Contribute to a positive, recovery-oriented club environment that promotes hope, dignity, and personal empowerment.
  • Track client participation, progress, and outcomes using designated electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and interdisciplinary planning with CCBHC staff.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services in accordance with CCBHC and agency guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work or related field, or 3-5 years of
experience with supported employment, or vocational rehabilitation
  • At least one year of experience supporting individuals with mental health or co-occurring conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients in a strengths-based person-centered manner
  • Comfort working in an informal, non-clinical environment with a flexible, client-directed approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and ability to learn EHR systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
