Store CAD Designer Temp
Description
Assignment length: 1 month (Possibility to extend)
Work location: City of Industry, CA (Hybrid schedule)
- Develop engaging store layouts and designs that align with project objectives, brand identity, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, retail planners, and project managers, to ensure design concepts meet project requirements.
- Produce comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings, to effectively communicate design intent.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to gather essential data for the design process.
- Provide assistance during the construction phase by reviewing shop drawings, resolving design issues, and ensuring design integrity.
- Participate in presentations and meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback.
- Contribute to the development of standardized design guidelines and templates for consistent application across various store locations.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to design projects, including revisions and updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing retail store design projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
- Thorough understanding of spatial planning, layout principles, and retail design trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and ADA requirements relevant to retail design is advantageous.
- Experience with 3D rendering software and visualization tools is a plus.
