Planning and Allocation Intern
In this role, you will gain experience executing the day-to-day tasks necessary to assist the Planning and Allocation team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad, general understanding of the P&A functions, responsibilities, and cross-functional partnerships needed in order to provide support across multiple categories.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Assist with creating allocation strategies to optimize inventory by store
  • Recap business at both the product category and item / style level
  • Identify store, style, and size level risks and/or opportunities
  • Support allocation team in day-to-day activities as we implement new allocation technology
  • Learn how to build an efficient financially based product assortments – in conjunction with Planning team members
  • Learn how to build efficient inventory plans to help maximize both margin and productivity
  • Learn the importance of Omni Channel Retailing – and how multiple systems are used to better fulfill customer demand orders
 
What You’ll Need:
  • Open to college junior/senior level students and recent graduates
  • Proficient in Excel and the MS office suite
  • Passion for problem solving, analytics, and process improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for duration of internship program. Internship dates: June 3 – August 9, 20224
