Havas Formula is seeking a Vice President to join our Social Media division in our NY office. The VP will lead social media division operations, production, staffing, and staff management. As well as playing a key strategic, leadership and management role while driving expansion for the Social Media division.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years of relevant Social Media experience, agency-side preferred. Experience managing a team/division and multiple client accounts and campaigns required. A solid understanding of public relations required.  Excellent client communications, account management, and presentation skills. Capable of creating and implementing a process-oriented experience. Strong marketing foundation. Likes to stay current and know what is trending online before anyone else. Can maintain balance between understanding social media cultures and developing professional but effective social media programs. Ability to think in a quantitative and qualitative manner and follow successful workflows and processes.

Responsibilities

Client Services/Account Management/Strategy<span

  • Leads client programs and budget development
  • Leads team in development of social media campaign strategies and execution
  • Constantly find ways to create organic social media opportunities with agency clients
  • Oversees account performance
  • Serves as strategic voice and counsel
  • Provides a strategic point of view to clients and colleagues

Operations/Production

  • Oversees the workflow of senior and junior level staff and client reporting, making sure deadlines and program KPIs are met
  • Educates agency and clients on best practices
  • Creates documents for agency use
  • Conducts trainings and meetings
  • Creates billing and service pricing
  • Manages accounts and team’s time allocation 

New Business

  • Represents division in new business proposals and presentations
  • Work closely with senior management team to plan and strategize

Agency Contributions

  • Participates in agency’s development programs
  • Contributes positively to the agency culture, atmosphere and values and exudes a positive outlook on his/her team
  • Establishes professional and respectful relationships with staff

Qualifications
