Overview

The Sadewasser Research Group is dedicated the development of micro- and nanostructured solutions to improve the performance of thin-film solar cells.

 

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our team and work under the project REMAP – Reusable Mask Patterning funded by HORIZON 2020 / European Innovation Council Pathfinder Open scheme grant no. 101046909.

 

Job Duties

The job duties will be the following:

  • Characterise the three-dimensional magnetic field structure of magnetic field patterning devices;
  • Assess the thermal behaviour of magnetic field patterning devices;
  • Explore applications of magnetic field patterning devices (e.g., micro-structured solar cell fabrication).

 

Mandatory Qualifications

 

Education

  • MSc degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.

 

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of materials;
  • Knowledge in materials characterisation.

 

Other Valued Skills

  • Image and data analysis;
  • Knowledge in magnetism;
  • Python.

 

Personal Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as team player;
  • “Hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines;
  • Problem Solving ability;
  • Good communication skills.

How the Selection Process works
 

A. Applications eligibility check

D. Nomination
