Overview

We are looking for an Electrician with experience in electrical systems and building infrastructures to join the team responsible for maintenance. This professional will act in the technical support of electrical power systems, lighting, access control, electrical networks and other critical equipment, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the building.

 

 

Job Duties

The job duties will be the following:

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting circuits, sockets and emergency power systems;
  • Diagnose and correct faults in electrical networks and low-voltage systems;
  • Inspect and adjust systems (sensors, actuators);
  • Maintain access control systems, alarms, CCTV and building communication systems;
  • Inspect and maintain emergency generator systems;
  • Collaborate and carry out improvements and extensions to the electrical infrastructure;
  • Inspect energy efficiency systems;
  • Monitor outsourced services in technical systems (i.e., electrical, automation and security);
  • Ensure that work carried out by third parties complies with regulations and quality standards;
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with technical safety standards and building regulations;
  • Keep records and technical reports of the activities carried out up to date;
  • Update electrical schematics and building diagrams, as necessary.

 

Mandatory Qualifications

 

Education

  • Certification in Electrical Installations and Services is mandatory;
  • Technical degree in Electricity, Electro-technics or related areas in the field of electrical installations;

 

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical and building maintenance;
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of building systems;
  • Knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical networks;
  • Experience with building automation systems and control equipment;
  • Training in the areas of electricity and instrumentation;
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.

  • Other certifications relevant to building systems will be valued;

  • Proactivity in problem-solving and preventive maintenance;
  • Good communication skills when interacting with internal teams and external suppliers;
  • Organisation and attention to technical accuracy.

How the Selection Process works
