This high-impact role is responsible for delivering highly scalable infrastructure to support a diverse and globally distributed sales team. The successful candidate will provide principle business ownership for sales-related systems and data and work effectively across multiple departments to provide vision, direction, project management, and thought leadership to create and support key global operational processes that will consistently uphold a high data quality standard and drive the increased productivity of both our sales leaders and field team.  This role will set priorities, create roadmaps, and drive the execution of their vision.

This position will report to the VP, Worldwide Sales Planning and Operations. The successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of sales operations professionals and must be a solutions-oriented, team player who works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, and highly cross-functional environment. A few of they key areas of this role include:

  • Create and execute a vision and roadmap to continuously develop and improve our sales operations data, systems infrastructure and business processes. Engage in long term planning of systems, process expansion and budget while collaborating across various stakeholders to build alignment/consensus in support of company goals and objectives;
  • Design, construct, implement and maintain a comprehensive Customer Data Model for the management of customer data.  This includes establishing strategy and company-wide governance, defining policies and processes, ensuring the ongoing quality of the data and implementing the necessary systems, analytics and infrastructure;
  • Become the primary business owner for the implementation of systems for the Sales organization, including SFDC; partner with sales management and IT to develop and execute a comprehensive systems roadmap for SFDC and other business applications to support the effective management of critical business initiatives such as (but not limited to) the management of customer and account data, opportunity management, implementing sales territory assignments and quotas, and the quote-to-cash process;
  • Manage, deliver and maintain fair and equitable sales territories in support of ForeScout’s go-to-market strategy; this includes the definition of clear rules of engagement and territory policies and implementing best practices to keep the sales team focused on winning and delighting customers;
  • Ensure a strong, consistent data quality standard and accuracy across SFDC and other critical sales and marketing tools;
  • Motivate end users and drive strong adoption of systems and processes; provide training and ongoing support to sales and sales management in the effective use of sales tools
What You Will Bring to Forescout:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a relevant global sales operations or business operations role within the high-technology industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required. MBA a plus
  • Proven track record of implementing complex sales systems and processes to support surrounding business processes such as master data management, territory design, and quote to cash within SFDC in a dynamic environment of rapid scale
  • Deep depth of understanding and hands-on technical knowledge of SFDC
  • Experience managing employees located in globally remote offices
  • Strong Excel financial/data modeling skills required
  • Must be a tireless self-starter with demonstrated ability to take own initiative
  • Determines short and long-term goals and the strategies to achieve them; is proactive in establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple, critical projects/programs simultaneously
  • Able to seamlessly shift from strategic planning to tactical administration comfortably in a rapidly growing and changing environment
