The American Tobacco campus is seeking an Assistant Property Manager: Parking (APM) to assist the General Manager with the daily operations of multiple properties.  

The APM will directly supervise, oversee, and manage a parking operation consisting of tenant parking, paid visitor parking and event parking for the Durham Bulls Baseball team as well as the Durham Performing Arts Center.   

The position will have the responsibility of vendor coordination and supervision; and coordinate various aspects of property management including exterior grounds maintenance, trash pickup and recycling as well as maintenance of the parking garages as well as other projects as assigned by the senior property manager.

This person must have a strong working knowledge of, and enforce, OSHA rules and regulations; will work directly with the Senior Property Manager and the Assistant Property Manager: Security to develop emergency, disaster, and safety procedures and programs.  

The successful candidate must have the ability to provide budget information and display good technical knowledge of parking operations. The Assistant Property Manager will assist with the preparation of annual property budgets, monthly financials, aged receivables reports, collections and tenant meetings.  

A general knowledge of excel spread sheets to provide budget information and inventory control setup, and five or more years’ professional experience with parking management and operations are necessary.  

The successful candidate must have a four year college degree or equivalent experience in parking services.
