Description

Act as specific line subject matter expert and owner of the documented process.
Audit team members work using standardized work and work standards. 
Work closely with team members to identify, escalate, and contain problems.
Backfill for absenteeism.
Daily problem-solving using data and hands-on experimentation; Work with all members to determine root cause and to prevent problem reoccurrence.  
Collaborate with other Team Leaders in area to ensure synergy and optimum are performance.
Learn work across the plant by doing projects and other support activity; Become a multi-area Team Leader
Use overtime allocation to perform start of shift and end of shift process readiness task.
Support and lead team of 5 to 8 team members to build trucks accurately and timely, while ensuring safety and quality. 
Create and maintain a standardize and visual work environment through worksite organization and cleanliness.
Identify opportunities to improve process methods, tools, material delivery and presentation, and team members skills and capabilities. 
Demonstrate and share information to team members to train and support process rotations for skills development; Provide immediate and accurate feedback to team members based on their ability to follow standards in the process.  Track team members capability level.
Track key metrics e,g, downtime, defects truck by truck/hourly/daily/weekly/monthly metrics and report daily on actions to recover gap in performance.
Notify Operations Manager/Operations Engineer Leader when help is needed.
