Associate Product Marketing Manager

Zynga is looking for an entry-level Associate Product Marketing Manager with exceptional project management and organizational skills to join our growing team for Words With Friends. As part of the larger marketing organization, this position reports to the Lead Product Marketing Manager and works very closely with the Game’s team Product Managers and other Marketing Managers on cross-functional initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with execution of all Go-to-Market marketing campaigns with cross-functional partners across all departments. Including, product, partnership, public relations, social, lifecycle, consumer insights, customer service, and user acquisition
  • Work closely with Product team and other functional marketing leads to develop and execute integrated marketing plans by attending all live ops meetings and adapting weekly cadence based on Product needs
  • Write creative briefs and track creative projects for internal or external agencies
  • Assist business development teams in creative pitches to partners; as well as, conceptualize and execute on partner marketing programs
  • Coordinate timelines with Direct Sales and Product teams on advertising opportunities within the app
  • Work closely with Product team to provide detailed marketing updates on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis
  • Coordinate and assist Product team on planning and scheduling marketing events around upcoming feature launches
  • Pitch and schedule cross-promotional ad opportunities with Ad Ops
  • Be the marketing POC for Customer Service and Moderation teams
Required Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing free-to-play mobile game with a strong track record of success and results
  • Solid understanding of mobile games and performance marketing best practices
  • Experience working with live operations for mobile games
  • Working with consumer insights, brand, go-to-market plans and overseeing execution
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play acquisition, retention and monetization key product indicators ( KPIs)
  • Passion for Word, Puzzle or Brain Games
  • Experience – and desire – to perform daily execution and optimization
  • Strong influencing skills; effective cross-functional driver
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task more than one project at the same time
  • Experience – and desire – to do both strategic marketing and daily execution and optimization
  • Ability to be flexible on a day-to-day basis with task priority
  • Operate effectively at an extremely fast pace
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Jira, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Outlook and Slack
