Position Overview:
Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the financial management matters across Microsoft Global Support’s AV & Hub LCR portfolio. This role owns the end-to-end forecasting process for the LCR Program by consolidating inputs from all project managers and producing an accurate, timely, single global LCR forecast and associated executive reporting (weekly flash, MBR, QBR). The SPOC ensures purchase-to-pay compliance, drives variance clarity, and partners with PMO and Finance to keep budgets, slippage, and cashflow on track.

- Act as the SPOC between Microsoft stakeholders and the Supplier on all LCR financial and business operational topics—owning inbound queries, decisions, escalations, and the comms plan.
- Own end-to-end LCR forecasting: collect and challenge inputs from all regional/workstream Project Managers; reconcile to portfolio tools; maintain the official rolling view with clear risks & opportunities and variance drivers.
- Publish a single global LCR forecasting report and executive packs for Weekly/MBR/QBR forums; ensure data lineage, version control, and narrative.
- Manage PO lifecycle including reviews with Microsoft Procurement: Forecast, projected purchase order volumes, delivery confirmation (GSR), invoice readiness, tracking, and close using Microsoft tools AVFMT, MyOrder, MSInvoice.
- Drive invoicing timeliness & governance with the Supplier’s PMO; monitor accruals, and coordinate notification paths.
- Maintain portfolio data integrity across OnePlan/AVFMT; implement checks to remove duplicates, reconcile slippage, and ensure single source of truth.
- Financial analysis & month/quarter end: variance explanations, forecast/budget alignment, accruals; work to target performance (e.g., ≤±3% variance).
- Risk & change control: maintain an at-risk register for LCR projects and quantify financial impacts; propose mitigations and update the forecast baseline accordingly.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or professional certifications (CPA, CIMA, CFA).
- 5+ years in Finance with proven forecasting ownership for large portfolios and PO/invoice lifecycle experience.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with project managers across regions/time zones and convert delivery signals into reliable forecasts and executive narratives.
- Fluency with enterprise financial/procurement tools and strong Excel/Power BI skills.
Preferred/Industry Experience
- Background in AV/IT deployment or large CapEx refresh programs (LCR/MTC), understanding supplier dynamics and logistics.
- Project/portfolio certifications a plus (e.g., PMP); AVIXA/CTS exposure beneficial for AV program fluency.
- Familiarity with MBR/QBR rhythms and executive stakeholder management.
