Position Overview:
 
The Licensing Executive will act as a trusted advisor and a subject matter expert (SME) focused on creating and proposing Volume Licensing solutions to Zones largest Enterprise customers working directly with Account Manager to translate customer software requirements into solutions. Achievement of profit goals along with increasing customer interaction and satisfaction are key pillars of success. The Licensing Solution Executive will work with their internal and external peers in a regional team to reach the mission to align the right solution to the right client and grow our business profitably with a cloud first approach.

What you’ll do as the Licensing Executive:
 
  • Create and propose Volume Licensing solutions to Zones’ largest Enterprise customers.
  • Consult with customers and account manager thru the Microsoft negotiation of terms process.
  • Build internal and partner support; manage key stakeholders to meet critical deadlines.
  • Manage deals through the contracting process until processed and invoiced, ensuring revenue is booked on time.
  • Build an account/territory plan to achieve key sales objectives
  • Participate in conference calls and on-site meetings with customers to explain and help determine the best acquisition method for their needs, including multi-program cost analysis comparisons.
  • Actively manage and update opportunities within Zones CRM Opportunity tools as necessary, manage internal tasks through ZonesAssist, to interact SME’s as well as sales teams.
  • Manage and achieve all gross profit sales goals for the assigned accounts
  • Provide account managers and their clients with consistent and excellent guidance.
  • Participate in all steps of the Zones Contract Management methodology.
  • Participate in proactive campaigns focused on driving customers to new offers.
  • Respond to email or phone inquiries from Account Managers and Advanced Technology Executives.
  • Develop and lead strong partnerships with Microsoft counterparts including inside and field account executives in region supported.
  • Visit clients on site as appropriate.
  • Attach Software Asset Management services for customers using Zones professional and managed service offerings.
What you will bring to the team: 
  • BA in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft MCP Certification
  • 5+ years solution (licensing and SAM services) and/or sales experience with LAR, VAR, OEM or SW Publishers
  • Familiarity with the cloud market and cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Proven track record selling software/services solutions to major customers
  • Ability to conduct in-depth program analysis for clients
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation and customer relationship skills
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of over quota achievement
  • Certifications on major product lines preferred:  MS, MCP, SAM, CS, VMware, AWS, Google
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 + commission.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
