Position Overview:
 
Term: 3 Months 
Location: Portland, OR  
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00; commensurate with experience 
Hours: 8:00 – 5:00 PST 
 
 
The Level 2 Hardware Asset Management (HAM) resource will support enterprise hardware asset management initiatives. This role is customer-facing and provides advanced operational expertise with strong proficiency in ServiceNow and Microsoft Intune.

  • Acts as an advanced operational resource within the Hardware Asset Management program.
  • Supports daily execution and optimization of the end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle.
  • Serves as a Level 2 escalation point for HAM-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Collaborates with IT Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Endpoint Engineering.
  • Manage full lifecycle of hardware assets—procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and disposal.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant asset records within ServiceNow HAM.
  • Perform reconciliation across ServiceNow CMDB, Microsoft Intune, and physical inventory.
  • Support internal and external audit readiness for hardware assets.
  • Develop reporting on compliance, lifecycle status, and inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and drive improvements to HAM processes and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM / HAM Pro).
  • Manage lifecycle states, normalization, and data accuracy within ServiceNow.
  • Support workflows, automations, and integrations related to hardware assets.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow platform teams to enhance HAM capabilities.
  • Use Intune as a reliable discovery and device inventory source.
  • Reconcile Intune data with ServiceNow asset lifecycle records.
  • Support device enrollment, compliance validation, and lifecycle alignment.
  • Identify and remediate data gaps between endpoint management and HAM systems.
What you will bring to the team: 
  • 3–6 years of experience in Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard hardware asset lifecycle practices.
  • Advanced proficiency with ServiceNow HAM and CMDB.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint device management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Resolves complex HAM data and lifecycle issues.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship for Level 1 resources.
  • Supports process maturity efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
