Position Overview

 

The Director of HR Shared Services will lead the development and implementation of efficient, scalable HR shared services that support the organization’s strategic objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic vision to enhance HR service delivery through innovative processes, technology, and continuous improvement.

 

What you will do as the Director of HR Shared Services

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the HR shared services strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Ensure the strategy supports business growth and enhances employee experience.
  • Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of HR services including benefits administration, HR information systems (HRIS), and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Utilize metrics and data analysis to drive decision-making.
  • Technology: Oversee the management of HR technologies and systems that support shared services and HR functions. Ensure systems are integrated and provide a seamless user experience.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR shared services team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure HR services align with business needs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR shared services budget. Monitor expenses and optimize costs while maintaining high service levels.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR shared services. Regularly report on performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external HR service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effective service delivery.

 

What you will bring to the Team

 

  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role. Prior experience in overseeing HR shared services or HR operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS and other HR technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of global benefits
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and change management to drive operational efficiencies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
