Position Overview:

The Proposal Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end proposal response lifecycle to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables. This role involves working closely with Sales, Presales, WinCenter, Delivery, and Partner representatives to drive qualified opportunities. The Proposal Manager must adhere to established governance processes, document and follow up on review items, and escalate issues requiring leadership attention. Additionally, the Proposal Manager is responsible for maintaining and updating RFP response content in the WinCenter content repository.

• Own, anchor, and drive qualified opportunities with Sales, Presales, WinCenter, Delivery, and Partner representatives.
• Follow established governance processes for every opportunity and document & follow up on review items.
• Timely escalate items that require leadership attention.
• Manage virtual teams and coordinate inputs from various stakeholders, including sales, solutioning, product teams, partners, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.
• Project manage the RFP response process via regular status meetings, document owners, action items, and escalation points to ensure a complete response in a timely manner.
• Perform kickoff for each RFx, onboarding all stakeholders & contributors, including response strategy, assignments, and timelines.
• Create response templates & content as required, populate initial technical content for SMEs to customize, and ensure content matches RFx requirements/questions.
• Conduct and document governance for each RFx, engage stakeholders per published matrix & guidelines, and follow through on open items.
• Follow the Shipley-based review process for content review & approval.
• Refresh/augment WinCenter content repository based on each RFx response.
• Identify improvement initiatives for the proposal management function.

What you will bring to the team:

• BE/MBA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• APMP certification preferable.
• Experience in managing and coordinating inputs from diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage virtual teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with governance processes.
• Familiarity with RFx response processes and best practices.
• Understanding of Zones Solution Offerings (Lifecycle, Workplace, Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security) and Services (Professional, Managed, Staffing).
