Position Overview:

 

Vice President Global Service Delivery will lead an Operations team consisting of multiple services with a Global Delivery Center in Bangalore. This individual will work in partnership with peers in a Global Delivery Organization to provide Managed Services to primarily US Clients and the support of other Clients around the world. Requires a great balance of leadership as a Country Executive participating in initiatives that Brand Zones in India and collaborating with Sales and Pre-Sales in growing the business. This also requires a 24/7 Operational culture and attributes that demand hands-on, day to day, people, and client service leadership in meeting specific contractual service commitments. Operational excellence, great people skills, financial management and collaboration with other Zones organizations are must for this role.

  • Lead a Service Delivery organization in India that consist of Global Command Center functions (Service Desk, Network Operations, Security Operations and Multi-Cloud managed Services)
  • Working in partnership with Sales and Pre-Sales in support of new business and leadership of each Go to Market Practice.
  • Build and maintain Client relationships that provide direct knowledge of Service satisfaction and possible opportunities to grow. Ensure there are action plans in place to address a Client Dashboard (Stoplight management for Clients)
  • Ensure that Client Satisfaction is Green and position us to grow organically with all Clients.
  • Maintain a high degree of oversight in the Hiring to ensure we are attracting and onboarding top-level talent for services.
  • Lead a governance process to ensure proactive client penetration, and oversight is in place for Current and New Transitioned Clients being onboard.
  • Execute an efficient and agile governance process that drives (Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly) information and data driven reporting. Creating alignments which inform interdependent parts of the organization (Practices, Global Talent Sourcing, Forecasting, Partners, Management, etc.).
  • Work as a consultative Solutions Services Sales team applying an operating model which is a Team Based sales model in conjunction with each of Zones sales channels. Work with management to design an optimal pay plan which supports and achieves the business objectives and builds a culture of “driven performance-oriented demand creation culture”.
  • Work with Sales Enablement, and each channel leader to identify and support services growth objectives. Cultivate the behaviors and culture that support the operating model.

What you will bring to the team:

  • An undergraduate technical degree is required; an MBA or professional post-graduate degree is desirable.
  • Technical acumen with ability to create methodologies that are consistently applied in all engagements.
  • 15+ years’ experience in leading hundreds of staff in an Operations and Service Delivery function and part of a Global Team
  • Collaboration with Sales leadership in growing services revenues while continuing to improve operational excellence (high utilization, meeting margin targets, focus on quality, customer satisfaction, etc.) and managing a full P&L
  • Successful track record of building and managing a high-performance team that has built successful Client Satisfaction levels and profitable result
  • Excellent strategy development and problem-solving skills as well as business development focus and experience (e.g. relative to new services and go-to-market approaches), while possessing a broad level of technology understanding and substantial operational and financial acumen
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and an appreciation of how the dynamics of growth affect corporate culture and in-place processes and systems. This includes experience planning for resources that meet the growth requirements of the business in rapidly changing environments along with strategies and programs that are flexible, dynamic and agile.
  • Be a goal-oriented, driven individual with a superior ability to execute and sustain a high sense of urgency
  • Be well organized with good delegation skills
  • Possess excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills, as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills necessary to motivate a team
  • Be comfortable and conversant in enterprise applications technology
  • Be articulate and confident, with a presence and stature that will help maintain and build the Zones brand and position in the marketplace.
