Position Overview:
The Services Accountant will be working alongside the Services team to ensure that all customers are correctly budgeted for, monitored for profitability and billed on a timely basis. They will prepare monthly accounts per customer and ensure all services are performed as per the SOW and necessary PO’s are in place. There will be a transactional element to the role where the monthly costs and invoices will need to be generated in the finance system for accurate and timely billing.
What you’ll do as the Services Accountant:

- Monitoring and reporting upon profitability and expenses.
- Managing the services financial processes.
- Ensuring invoices are billed timely and dealing with customer queries.
- Producing financial forecasts.
- Utilizing the F & O system.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2 to 3 years in services accounting role.
- An understanding of UK and EU VAT rules would be a benefit.
- Experience working within a large ERP system and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access etc.).
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter with an ability to work individually and with others to achieve department goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
