Position Overview:
The Desktop Support Engineer will provide advanced technical support to end-users, handle complex desktop-related issues, and assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
What you’ll do as a Desktop Support Engineer L1:

Desktop support specialists are responsible for providing an excellent end-user experience, which includes resolving potential or actual technical issues. One of their main duties is troubleshooting different software packages, hardware devices, and other peripherals. Additionally, desktop support specialists configure computer systems according to company policies. When handling sensitive data stored on company drives. They diagnose problems and follow up to ensure resolution. Additional tasks include performing regular maintenance and updating operating systems while minimizing downtime and increasing productivity. They also help with data back-up duties in case of data corruption.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT support, specifically with desktop engineering or desktop support roles.
- Windows OS installation
- Bit locker encryption
- Basic network and hardware troubleshooting.
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience with the SNOW ticketing tool is mandatory.
- Experience with Apple products is a plus
