Position Overview:

The Smart Services Specialist plays a critical role in helping support the acceleration of our Cisco Services business. This role provides a high visibility opportunity for a professional to have significant management interaction across many organizations, and the opportunity to impact, shape and simplify our business. It requires strength in business analytics, project management, execution, communication, and collaboration.

What you’ll do as the Cisco Services Specialist:

Employees employed in the role of Cisco Services Specialist shall be required to apply their independent minds and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

       Develop and maintain levels of expertise in Cisco Services products, programs, and policies to support and enable the sales, organization, and customers.

       Proactively drive revenue for Cisco Services to achieve sales goals, through outbound calling and collaborating with Zones Sales teams

       Maintain tracking data and manage progression on pipeline, deal registration, and open quotes with a primary focus on bringing opportunities to close.

       Act as the main point of contact for all internal sales questions pertaining to Cisco Services products and programs.

       Be able to promote and sell the joint value proposition of Zones and Cisco Services.

       Deliver weekly business reports to Manager.

       Identify and address recurring issues and trends and report to manager.

       Identify areas for training and coordinate with training manager and/or other department heads.

       Make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.

       As the subject matter expert, provide guidance on the best Cisco Services strategy to embrace to reach target segments.

       Maintain tracking data and manage progression on CRM pipeline, deal registration, and open quotes with a primary focus on bringing opportunities to close.

       Participate in the development and execution of Cisco Services marketing programs and strategies.

       Act as the primary point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for all internal sales questions pertaining to Cisco Services products and programs.

 

Data Analysis:

       Must be a Microsoft Excel expert with ability to manipulate Renewal Pipelines, CRM Pipelines, Reporting, Automated VBA customer facing documentation.

       Create and maintain customer facing automated templates built using Microsoft VB, using Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). Templates include Services Quote, Services Details, Order Completion Report and more.

       Create additional automated documents from time to time to strengthen department’s processes and improve efficiency.

       Converting raw Cisco Reports in an accurate and efficient pipeline

 

What you will bring to the team:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION: 

At least bachelor’s in engineering, IT, etc.

REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Cisco Sales Expert Program (CSEP E-Learning v4.0) (On Job)
  • Cisco Services Training (On Job)
  • Strong understanding of Cisco’s Products & Services
  • Microsoft Excel
  • A+ English reading, speaking, listening, and writing.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work with minimum or without supervision
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Able to multi-task and handle work under pressure as a member of the team
