Description

Fluidra’s seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Data Specialist to join our team at our Carlsbad, CA office. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The successful candidate will ensure that dealers are segmented properly, maintain and improve data quality for the sales team, identify SKU data categorization errors, and evaluate new reporting for accuracy. In addition, the Specialist will support the sales operations team with daily tasks that enhance backend sales efforts. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and efficiency for our field sales, inside sales, and marketing teams.  Additionally, you will: 

Dealer Segmentation: 

  • Develop and maintain accurate dealer segmentation to optimize sales strategies and customer engagement. 
  • Continuously analyze dealer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 

 

Data Accuracy: 

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales data, including customer information and sales metrics. 
  • Regularly audit and clean the sales database to maintain high data quality standards across various applications and databases that are used by revenue generating teams. 
  • Ensure data integrity exists between systems; auditing data disconnects when they occur between application systems. 
  • Lead and maintain standards for customer master data management practices within sales and sales operations processes. 
  • Support creation and maintenance of documentation related to customer data policies, procedures, and standards. 
  • Create interim technology solutions to remove manual process while formal technology solutions are developed.  

 

SKU Reporting: 

  • Monitor and report on SKU performance, ensuring that product data is up-to-date and accurately reflects sales activity. 
  • Collaborate with MDM and data entry teams to synchronize data across systems.  

 

Support Revenue Operations: 

  • Assist the sales operations team with various day-to-day tasks, including data entry, report generation, and process improvement initiatives. 
  • Provide support to field sales, inside sales, and marketing teams to facilitate seamless sales operations pertaining to customer data. 
  • Primary stakeholder for project and change impacts to customer data flows. 
  • Sales Enablement to effectuate the proper management of customer data on behalf of field sales teams, including territory representatives and sales leadership 

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in customer operations, sales operations, data management, or similar roles. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including, Word, PowerPoint). Strong Excel skills is a must. 
  • Experience working with CRM systems and data management tools is a plus. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  
  • Subject matter knowledge of sales operations and related concepts critical to customer data management practices. 
  • Ability to perform high volume data processing with speed and accuracy. 
  • Experience supporting technology integration projects with data requirements. 
  • Proactive, energetic, self-starter with enthusiastic mindset.  
  • Must have high multi-tasking capacity and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a drive for continuous improvement. 
  • Ability to understand sales strategies, systems, and processes to drive data needs. 
  • Strong organizational and planning skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through with little prompting from supervisor. 
  • Teamwork, Passion for Success, Strong Work Ethic, Enjoys Innovating and Infusing Creativity towards Process Improvement; all in the pursuit to deliver best in class experience to our customers by having a highly efficient sales team. 
  • Experience using Power Query or SQL to improve manual data processes preferred. 
  • Understanding of standard ERP/CRM data structures and integrations preferred. 
  • Knowledge of general data modeling and warehousing practices preferred.

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Expected hourly rate range is $27.00 – $31.25. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
