Fluidra’s looking for a HR Generalist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. 
  
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive support to the Human Resources department. This position will assist in various HR functions including, but not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, engagement, training, and compliance. Additionally, you will:  
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing questions and concerns regarding workplace issues, policies, and procedures, and providing guidance to resolve conflicts effectively, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate team members. 
  • Leads the new hire onboarding process and supports employee offboarding processes and procedures.  
  • Support leaders with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. 
  • Utilizes HRIS system to maintain accurate employee records, process employee changes, and run reports as needed.  
  • Provides support to our managers and employees regarding the company goal-setting, and the performance review cycle.  
  • Handles administrative tasks related to employee benefits and leave of absence, including processing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. 
  • Owns the planning, promotion and execution of employee engagement programs and activities including wellness, recognition and other celebratory events or programs.  
  • Helps draft and send companywide communications regarding HR programs, events, policies and procedures.  
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations including supporting audit and research projects as needed.  
  • Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices and regulatory changes and makes recommendations to HR management  
  • Assists the greater HR team with special projects and additional duties as assigned 
 
WHAT WE SEEK 
  • 4+ years’ work experience supporting in an HR Specialist or HR Generalist capacity with an emphasis in HR project management, administration and employee relations. 
  • Strong project coordination and/or management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion 
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills and an ability to form positive and professional relationships  
  • Ability to support complex employee situations with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Experience in handing employee concerns, investigations or other employee relations matters
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Understanding of federal and multistate employment laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Success Factors or similar system, is a preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
EDUCATION 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or combination of education and equivalent work experience
