Fluidra is looking for a Sr. Technical Analyst, Embedded Software to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. 
  
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  
As a Sr. Technical Analyst, Embedded Software you will drive clarity between business goals and technical implementation. You'll work onsite with the Engineering team and collaborate closely with globally distributed teams in the US and India. You'll own the breakdown of product features into actionable stories, define E2E scenarios, and ensure story acceptance meets business and technical needs.. Additionally, you will:  
  • Feature Decomposition: Collaborate with Product Managers to define features and convert them into detailed user stories , enablers & spikes with acceptance criteria. You will have the support of a firmware architect
  • Specifications: Translate product requirements into detailed firmware requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring that all MVP-related items are clearly defined and ready for development before inclusion in sprints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: As a member of the firmware team, you will identify cross-functional dependencies and ensure that interface agreements with the hardware, cloud, mobile application, mechanical, and industrialization teams are clearly defined and documented.
  • E2E Scenarios: Lead end-to-end validation definition to confirm embedded software functionality meets product requirements
  • Story Acceptance: Review and approve user stories based on technical and business acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Agile Execution: Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • SAFe Delivery: Support PI Planning and other SAFe ceremonies, ensuring alignment across ARTs
  • Tooling: Use JIRA and Confluence to manage backlogs, documentation, and traceability
  • Global Team Support: Collaborate with teams in India, France, Spain, and the US, providing necessary time zone overlap to ensure smooth communication and delivery
WHAT WE SEEK
  • 7+ years in Embedded Software Technical/Business Analyst role within Agile/SAFe environments
  • Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
  • Expertise in JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Must be onsite in Carlsbad, CA (Relocation not covered)
  • Must be available for in-person final interview
  • Understanding of cloud (AWS) or IoT domains is a plus
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with connected devices, IoT, or AWS-based systems
  • Familiarity with firmware testing frameworks or CI/CD processes for embedded environments 
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

Expected salary range is $125,000 - $145,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
