Fluidra is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
· Develop and maintain Team Member accountability for all issues identified in accordance to plant policies / procedures / labor agreement.
· Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
· Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
· Communicate daily with the other supply chain departments (planning, scheduling, procurement, shipping...).
· Complete safety audits.
· Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations by performing trainings as required on various safety topics.
· Drive improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing principals.
· Implement and maintain 5-S principals for the Production area.
· Report machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance and support personnel.
· Apply the corrective action process when non-conformances are detected.
· Responsible for production goals attainment.
· Promote a sense of urgency to all downtime issues.
· Mobilize appropriate resources to address quality or maintenance issues, striving for permanent corrective action plans to close issues.
· Ensure all scrap is appropriately tagged and dispositional in a timely manner.
· Provide on-going suggestions for cost/quality improvements.
· Manage & approve time of subordinates utilizing timekeeping system.

WHAT WE SEEK
· Two years related experience and/or training supervising in a fast paced production/ manufacturing environment
· Strong leadership skills
· Strong communication skills
· Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concept
· Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The hours expectation for this position are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with periodic overtime hours. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office and production equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 20 pounds. May also be required to drive powered equipment such as forklifts and company vehicles. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 30 lbs., and sometimes, up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Duties are performed in an active manufacturing plant. Noise levels vary.
