Credit Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join the Finance and Accounting team at our West Coast office in Carlsbad, CA. This person will work with our team to assess credit risk, maximize accounts receivable collections, analyze customer financial data and credit information for new customer credit lines and provide an excellent customer experience. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE   

  • Analyze customer financial data and credit info for new customer credit lines
  • Minimize bad debt risk, maximize accounts receivable collections
  • Assist with order entry billing issues for correction
  • Reconcile customer statements/billings and problem resolution with customers
  • Assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
  • Analyze customer financial statements.
  • Provide financial order management support to Supply Chain and Sales and Marketing personnel to control credit exposure, effect timely payment, and minimize risk of customer disputes.
  • Conduct collection calls and customer visits to collect Accounts Receivables.
  • Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and documents root cause.
  • Provide customer service and develops relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate credit files and collection files. Maintain electronic collect notes for each customer account.
  • Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
  • Actively participates and communicates in the team-based work groups that make up the Credit Department.
  • Cash Receipts posting and reconciliation.
  • Daily Credit Card Processing.
  • Process manual credit and debit memos.
  • Daily invoicing and mailing.
  • Maintain Resale Tax Certificates for audit purposes.
  • Monthly Close process of Oracle.
  • Cross Train in various project in department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE SEEK   

  • Effectively secure prompt payment from customers while employing commercial sensitivity, business acumen, and good judgment
  • Effective business writing and professional communication skills
  • 1+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Internet, and related computer skills Oracle preferred
  • Demonstrated Effective Customer Service Skills
  • Related work experience in accounts receivable and/or finance
  • Preferred Oracle experience and Microsoft office is preferred

EDUCATION   

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting/Finance, high school diploma or equivalent required

Expected hourly rate range is $28.00 - $30.00. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
