Fluidra’s seeking a Sourcing Manager that will join our team at our office in Atlanta, GA. 

  

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  

The Strategic Sourcing team at Fluidra is responsible for selecting suppliers to support business needs, managing supplier relationships / performance, and meeting aggressive cost savings goals.  Fluidra has an exciting new opportunity for a Sourcing Manager based in our Atlanta, GA location.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing $70m+ in spend including our Water Treatment (e.g., Salt Water Chlorinators, etc.) and Pool Covers categories for our Americas business unit.  The successful candidate must be able to partner cross-functionally including with our Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Marketing teams to execute on Sourcing projects. Additionally, you will:  

  • Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Quality and local Sourcing teams to understand business requirements
  • Develop and gain approval for sourcing category strategies for assigned projects / spend
  • Lead or support sourcing initiatives using a rigorous sourcing methodology to select the most qualified supplier based on quality, service, cost and innovation
  • Lead RFP’s / RFQ’s and supplier negotiations, including building cost models to compare bids and drive negotiations
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and work with our Legal team to create or amend supplier agreements
  • Assist in implementing new suppliers including part qualification and relationship setup

  

WHAT WE SEEK 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain with experience leading large sourcing initiatives
  • Strong negotiations experience and skills
  • High-level of proficiency in MS-Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Highly analytical with expertise calculating total delivered cost and capacity analyses
  • Successfully work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work with people across the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to summarize and present to a VP or SVP level audience
 
PREFERRED
  • Experience with one of our key categories (plastics, metals, electronics or contract manufacturing) is a plus
  • Management experience is strongly preferred.  This role will manage project teams and may manage one or more Sourcing Specialists in the future.
  • Experience with ERP, eSourcing and business analytics systems
  • Advanced degree and / or Certified Supply Chain Professional
  • Experience managing suppliers in other countries, especially Mexico and China
  • Experience working with international teams, particularly with European countries, Australia, and / or South Africa

  

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, business or engineering major preferred
