Data and Outcomes Analyst

Prime Education, a property of Everyday Health Group, is seeking a Data and Outcomes Analyst to join the Prime Education Research Department. In this role, you will be responsible to organize data and analyze outcomes of program questions; analysis of patient and provider data from system-based and practice improvement programs and qualitative analysis of data from education programs. The Data and Outcomes Analyst will support data management for the research team including entering metrics for routine project reporting into grant management systems.
The Data and Outcomes Analyst possesses specialized skills and experience in enhancing the quality of scientific/biomedical outcomes documents and presentations. The person in this role will possess the ability to understand research methodologies and assist in statistical analysis to test unique research hypotheses. You will collaborate effectively with the professional research team and is integral to the coordination, collection, and output of real-world healthcare data. You will also participate in the recruitment and engagement of healthcare systems, community based practices, and health care providers into quality improvement research and education studies aligned with the company’s grants and contracts. You will focus on strategies that can implement and optimize data collection and storage, and work with the research team to effectively uncover and relay meaningful and measurable stories related to the project outcomes. The Data and Outcomes Analyst reports to the Associate Director, Outcomes Reporting although you will also work closely with other key personnel involved in the company’s research and study designs.
Position Duties:
- Participate in the planning of real-world data collection for CME and research-based projects
- Organize and track outcomes data from CME and research-based programs/projects, including timely, accurate assembly of qualitative data sets from live and virtual programs
- Plan and perform ongoing qualitative data analyses related to projects/programs, and identify opportunities to assemble qualitative data for story-telling to supporters and other stakeholders
- Assess quantitative and qualitative data and outcomes to assist in identifying the impact of the education related to the data
- Assist in the development of presentations, scientific abstracts, and communications that convey a story about the value of a program/project
- Assist in the completion of timely and compelling interim and final outcomes reports
- Conduct editorial review of interim and final outcomes reports
- Liaise with the technology team to design or integrate strategies and methods for improved data capture and data reporting
- Conduct timely and efficient quality testing of survey databases to ensure data accuracy and the timely reporting of data
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or biomedical field; Masters or Academic degree preferred
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and balance several deadlines/production deliverables simultaneously
- Strong skills in proofreading and editing
- Ability to analyze the integrity and validly of the scientific /biomedical research methods and data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
