We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $200 million for charity and counting.

Humble Games is Humble Bundle’s game publishing arm.  Humble Games is the result of a shared passion to support indie developers, deliver top-quality content to gamers around the world and continue the Humble mission to be a force for good in the industry and across the globe.

Position Intro:

As a Business Development Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Development & Digital Sales, you will be responsible for securing partnership opportunities for titles published by Humble Games. 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage relationships with Humble Games’ key business partners.
  • Identify and foster new business relationships in various categories. 
  • Identify, negotiate and close partnership deals with key 1st and 3rd Party partners, working closely with Humble Games’ developer partners and cross functional teams.
  • Provide end to end support for all partnership deals and projects secured by the Business Development team.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of business development experience and proven record of managing complex, senior level partnership negotiations.
  • Strong business development experience working on technology licensing, middleware,or game publishing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong relationship management, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to articulate business needs to build internal consensus among cross-functional teams. 
  • Deep understanding of PC, consoles and mobile game businesses and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional project management, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of the video game ecosystem and executive contacts for key players
  • Ability to structure, execute and develop complex strategic partnerships that create significant value for Humble Games, its partners and stakeholders

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Bonus Points

  • Chinese / Japanese language skills is a plus

Travel Requirements:

Occasional air travel (~15%) — applicants must be willing to travel.
