Job Description

The Corporate Finance function at Ziff Davis is core to the Company’s capital allocation strategy and works closely with senior corporate executives, senior operating executives and other leaders across the organization. This position will partner with the VP of Corporate Finance and senior leadership to develop, execute, and drive strategy and processes across the Company.  This role will be central in administering and enhancing corporate FP&A responsibilities, and will play an active role in other key functions, principally capital structure and treasury management, corporate strategy, and engagement with coverage analysts and shareholders. This role would be actively involved in bottom-up financial planning, ad-hoc variance analysis, financial operations monitoring, corporate KPI and metrics management, valuation analysis, presentations to the Board and senior leadership, and interfacing with equity research analysts and debt/equity investors. As part of the Corporate Finance team, this person will work in partnership with divisional and business unit leadership as well as Corporate teams including Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Tax and Technology to drive outcomes and processes related to the Company’s top and bottom line performance.


  • Partnering with the VP of Corporate Finance, develop, execute, and drive strategy and processes across the organization
  • Lead corporate budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including bottom-up/top-down financial planning, and performance variance analysis
  • Draft Board of Directors meeting materials, investor presentations, and earnings decks
  • Monitor industry activities, perform industry research, and engage with the investment community, including direct shareholder outreach 
  • Develop and monitor regular and ad-hoc analysis to support key business decisions
  • Interface and collaborate with various corporate and divisional functions to drive corporate efficiencies through the implementation and tracking of processes and KPIs


  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, equity research, or operational/financial strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis and research
  • Experience working effectively as part of a small team
  • Self-starter capable of working independently
  • Detail-oriented with ability to efficiently synthesize information
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Disclosure as required by state laws, the salary for this role has a maximum of $110,000, a potential annual bonus, health insurance, and 401K.
