The Opportunity:     
Everyday Health Pregnancy & Parenting is seeking an Analytics Manager, Commerce for What to Expect and BabyCenter.  
   
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing affiliate data from multiple sources and will be a key point person in all data-driven business decisions.  The ideal candidate is a seasoned data analyst with experience in affiliate marketing platforms. Reporting to the Director of Data Insights and collaborating closely with the Director of Commerce Content Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making to maximize revenue generation.    

     

Key Responsibilities:     
  • Data Synthesis and Analysis:    
    • Collect and consolidate data from Amazon Associates, Impact Radius, and Skimlinks.    
    • Analyze affiliate commerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.    
    • Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to understand their goals and provide data-driven insights.    
  • Report Generation:    
    • Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to affiliate commerce.    
    • Create synthesized reports that clearly communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.    
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.    
  • Collaboration with Editorial Team:    
    • Partner with the editorial team to align data insights (conversion rate, traffic, AOV, etc.) with content strategy.    
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for content creation, focusing on high-performing affiliate products and topics.    
    • Assist in identifying opportunities for content optimization and improvement.    
  • Collaboration with Marketing Team:    
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize owned media/tactics such as email and in-app messaging. Provide insights on the most effective channels and messaging for driving affiliate commerce.    
    • Utilize data to enhance targeting, personalization, and overall performance of affiliate marketing efforts.    

     

Requirements:    
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-10 years of experience in ecommerce, data analytics, marketing/ad-tech, or other quantitative fields.    
  • Knowledge of affiliate networks and SaaS platforms (Amazon Associates, Impact, Commission Junction, ShareASale, Awin, Rakuten, etc.)    
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.    
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques and strategies.    
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.    
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, etc)    
  • Confidence using SQL for fetching and manipulating data

Compensation for this business unit specific role is based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, as well as business & company performance.
