Who We're Looking For

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing several Buyer Categories’ Inventory Management operations, supporting Inventory Management team members, and delivering on key initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Exemplifying our company Core Values.
  • Understands the  supply chain for multiple vendors
  • Understands the input levers to drive improved customer experience for assigned category
  • Integrates key metrics with broader business metrics to deliver optimal customer experience
  • Translates data analysis into actionable insights that influence the decisions or recommendations
  • Proposes specific cost reduction and waste removal opportunities in category
  • Provides scalable solutions for specific issues
  • Recommends long-term category solutions that automate or simplify category processes
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of systems and tools and an ability to work with technical teams to advocate for tool enhancements
  • Works with internal technical teams to drive a single system process change (e.g., vendor returns) by defining requirements, driving prioritization, and managing implementation
  • Acts as key point of contact between Retail, supply chain, and vendors
  • Educates and integrates new vendors on operational requirements to reinforce highest standards
  • Influences vendor operational performance management and improvement
  • Demonstrates ability to translate the operational strategy into day-to-day decisions and opportunity identification
  • May contribute to S&OP (OP1 and OP2) forecasting and planning
  • Works effectively with team members in the category and in external support functions to execute on strategic objectives
  • Builds and maintains knowledge management tools
  • Trains and mentors another team member
  • Seeks opportunities to develop deeper or multiple areas of expertise; shares knowledge in and outside of team

What You’ll need To Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years of analytics, information management, or related experience OR a minimum of 3 years of merchandising or equivalent retail experience
  • A minimum of 1 additional years of process improvement experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Operations Research, Business, Merchandising, or related field or equivalent experience
