Envestnet is seeking a AP Associate to join our Finance department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Denver, CO office location.

Job Summary: 

The AP Associate is responsible for Accounts Payable activities, including the review and verification of invoices to ensure accuracy. The AP Associate applies basic accounting principles related to Accounts Payable. Responsibilities include processing purchase order and manual invoices into the accounting system, preparing payment proposals, and maintaining files according to established policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply basic accounting principles relating to accounts payable.
  • Process purchase orders.
  • Process purchase order invoices into accounting system.
  • Process manual invoices.
  • Prepare/Initiate payment proposals for payment runs.
  • Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.
  • Review/Audit Travel & Expense Reimbursements to Policy.
  • File, organize and maintain files either electronic or hardcopy.
  • Completing special projects as needed.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Good accounts payable system/computer skills (Oracle preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel specifically).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Accounts Payable Function.
  • Must be analytical and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills necessary.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $44,000 to $66,000.
