Currently we are seeking candidates who have an enthusiasm and commitment to provide a "Best in Class" client service experience to our Investment Managers. 


The primary role of the Manager Services Team is to support the onboarding of new investment managers to the Envestnet platform and to assist existing investment managers by providing ongoing service related to model management. 


·         Provide training and support for manager console; including process support, manager’s responsibilities and opportunities for best practices.

·         Effectively track the various statuses of new managers across all stages of the onboarding process and communicate updates to both internal and external interested parties.

·         Review new manager setup documents for accuracy, relevance and completeness for submission to setup team for prompt platform availability. Retain documentation in a centralized location for periodic review and auditing.

·         Facilitate initial and ongoing meetings, including training sessions to ensure investment managers are comfortable with all day-to-day operational processes within the platform.

·         Work directly with internal and external sources to maintain investment models used in the implementation of investment strategies.

·         Establish and maintain strong and supportive overlay relationships to foster a cooperative environment in which to build and maintain strategic partnerships with our investment managers.

·         Performs daily duties, including problem resolution using standard procedures and precedents.

·         Escalates issue to supervisor and assists with solving issues that are without procedures or precedents.

·         Participates in root cause analysis to correct and/or prevent deviations in processes and workflows.

·         Assist investment managers with complex trade rebalances and model maintenance, including trading and rebalance operations, adjusting models for corporate actions and other unique and/or one off model updates.

·         Participates in special projects as assigned by supervisor, manager, and/or vice-president.

  • Load, maintain and query databases with manager/product data related to trade volumes, composite performance analysis, auto exclusionary rules and billing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance required or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial services or related industry preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of the securities industry, of various types of investment vehicles, and trading methods.
  • Understanding of quality control methods is a necessity.
  • Has a fundamental understanding of the work environment and processes.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrate basic level skills to critically analyze information and make recommendations.
  • Demonstrate ability to be able to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Work as a member of a team with collaborative decision making.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy and be able to work with a variety of personalities.


  • Demonstrate flexibility, and assertiveness in order to complete multiple tasks and meet the demands placed on his/her time.
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot daily processing obstacles.
  • Demonstrate ability to gather information from various sources to assist in critical decision making.
  • Demonstrate practical reasoning capacity and judgment skills.
  • Must be able to communicate with others in a concise, productive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be able to comprehend and act on information communicated both verbally and from internal/external documents or computer terminal.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong math skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of Security APL a plus.
