Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Client Service Manager to join our Service team. This position is expected to report to either our Berwyn, PA or Raleigh, NC office.

Job Summary:

The Client Service Manager establishes and maintains strong and cooperative relationships with institutional clients, fostering a cooperative environment and providing exceptional support for the resolution of problems and/or errors. Works to address the root cause of trends; proposes and implements short-, medium- and long-term solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides optimal support to institutional business, including tracking and resolving customer issues/concerns via phone and electronic inquiries
  • Establishes and maintains strong and cooperative relationships with designated institutional clients to foster a cooperative environment for the resolution of problems and/or errors
  • Collaboratively works with institutional clients to solve issues. Works to address root cause of trends and propose short, medium and long term solutions. Work to implement the solutions with internal teams as needed
  • Facilitate best practice process management with various operational and administrative areas of the organization, including making suggestions for improved client service, quality control, and risk management procedure
  • Assist Financial Institutions with establishment and maintenance of entitlements or configurations on the Envestnet Platform related to Portfolio Management, Portfolio Construction, Platform Operations, or Reporting & Portals 
  • Participation as a project resource
  • Daily monitoring all Group Email Boxes
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the financial services or related industry with a client service background
  • Must have working knowledge of the securities industry, of various type as of investment vehicles, and trading methods
  • Understands the terminology and processing requirements within the Investment and Financial Services Industry
  • Must be highly organized, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to critically analyze information and make sound recommendations
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Work as a member of a team with collaborative decision making
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy and be able to work with a variety of personalities
  • Strong information-gathering and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate with others in a concise, productive and professional manner – both verbally and in writing
  • Must have strong math skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
