Job Summary:

As a QA Engineer on the team, you are passionate about collaboratively building high quality software. You are creative, self-starting, and demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You have an appetite for learning quickly and can analyze both functional and performance problems to determine the root cause. You can operate with incomplete information and want to help define outcomes and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for automation opportunities throughout the SDLC and implement automation test coverage
  • Engage in the Scrum process and strive to improve yourself and the team
  • Identify risk areas to the team before development begins when possible
  • Break down complex features into well-defined, executable test plans and test cases
  • Write up exceptional defects with all relevant details like error logs, screenshots, steps, etc.
  • Complete individual and team commitments within the time/complexity estimates
  • Continually grow skills that enhance your technical expertise and organizational contribution
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications:

  • A strong work ethic
  • 5+ years of software testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience with C#
  • 2+ years of experience creating automation tests in a Page Object Model Selenium WebDriver framework
  • 2+ years of experience in an Agile, CI/CD based environment
  • Ability to dissect requirements and architecture into implementations of code and testing frameworks that validate software in an autonomous fashion
  • The ability to analyze problems and methodically iterate to the root cause
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with complex multi-tier applications
  • Familiarity with writing basic SQL queries to expedite software testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating automated API tests
  • Experience with building load and scalability frameworks or using tools such as Visual Studio Load Test, NeoLoad, JMeter, BlazeMeter, SilkPerformer, or LoadRunner
  • Experience building data driven tests and frameworks for Web, Windows, and/or Microservices.
  • A personal interest in the FinTech space
  • A BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent software testing certifications

SALARY

The annual base salary range for this position is $63,000 to $140,000.
