Envestnet Wealth is seeking a talented and passionate Head of Product and Sales – Data & Analytics Client Solutions to join the Data Intelligence team. This team is responsible for managing and directing Product and Sales Management for Envestnet | Data Intelligence.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and manage high-performing teams that have the business acumen and technical capability of carrying out needed initiatives and delivering world-class products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and product management best practices.
  • Educate, mentor, and share knowledge with the organization’s management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to the company’s data intelligence and technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and direct procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Demonstrate understanding of full scope of client’s business and growth strategies including current and future focus of firm.
  • Gain deep understanding of client’s business model to help achieve annual goals and initiatives including internal quarterly metrics and strategic business plans.
  • Supervisory Responsibility – This role is responsible for the supervision of 10+ FTEs.
  • The priorities for this position include strategic planning, strong leadership/management abilities and problem resolution. We are looking for candidates who deeply understand and anticipate our clients’ needs and are always looking for innovative ways to solve industry problems.
  • Manage a team of Product and Sales Managers who are responsible for defining product priorities with key stakeholders and managing their own roadmaps to relentlessly drive the product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Work cross-functionally and closely with engineering, design, support, and business stakeholders to bring new data and analytics products to the financial marketplace. You are able to articulate and present product benefits to clients and internal teams.

Must Have:

  • 7+ years combination of product management and sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services or FinTech preferred
  • BS/BA in computer science, data and analytics, finance, business administration or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience. A graduate degree in one of these fields is a huge plus
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution of new product deployments, including marketing and sales plan execution
  • Managed the significant and successful growth of a product management and sales department or function.
  • Experience working within agile software development life cycle
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal
  • Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative high-performing teams
  • Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day-to-day company
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with clients, colleagues and cross-functional teams, as well as third parties
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

  • Experience developing data and/or technology solutions for small to medium size businesses
