Envestnet Wealth is seeking a talented and passionate Product Manager, Core Platforms to join the Core Platform Services team. This team is responsible for defining and overseeing the product development efforts for the features that facilitate the Advisor experience throughout the core Envestnet Wealth platform. This includes portfolio accounting, service request infrastructure, billing, surveillance, account administration, and client household solutions. These components are critical to the delivery of the holistic wealth management experience for both financial advisors and clients.

 The Product Manager, Core Platforms will help define the requirements and manage the product development lifecycle for strategic and ongoing enhancements of the platform.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and illustrate the vision for the product and communicate the key phases and milestones for deliverables informed by based on strategic priorities, client feedback and external partnerships.
  • Identify and communicate specific business objectives and goals for the product management team that are confirmed by and aligned with management; set and track measurable goals
  • Partner closely with technology development teams to clearly articulate business need, product solution, and functional direction
  • Manage scrum teams to prioritize and define product features for development.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle to ensure key dates and checkpoints are met
  • Work with current and prospective clients as well as internal stakeholders to understand their needs to identify and prioritize product enhancements
  • Guide cross functional teams to help resolve issues with appropriate solutions
  • Assess competitive offerings in the market to analyze our relative strength in the marketplace and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure the quality of materials produced by the product management teams are kept to a high standard to articulate platform features, enhancements and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders such as Marketing, Training, Sales, Operations, Legal and Compliance.

 Must Have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management
  • Excellent organization skills to track deliverables and due dates and to coordinate stakeholder meetings and input
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with other team members across geographic locations

 Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Experience with wealth management technology platforms
  • Experience with hosted, multi-tenant software systems helpful but not critical
  • Background in software development helpful but not critical
  • Experience with managed account platforms is helpful
